I'm a director and lighting cameraman working on narrative, commercial and factual projects. My work has taken me to different parts of the world and the films that I have worked on have won a variety of awards at festivals in the UK, US and further afield.

During my career I have worked both in a freelance capacity and in full-time employment at a video production company. In my six years at this company I worked my way up to head the production team, taking on the creative lead for high-end projects. I gained experience in each area of production, from concept development and storyboarding through to directing, shooting, lighting, sound recording and design, editing and colouring. This breadth of experience has proven to be invaluable, giving me a comprehensive understanding of how everything I film will support the story, flow in the edit, and fare in the colour grade. Having multiple disciplines also allows me to wear many hats on shoots with smaller crews or as a one-man-band filmmaker.

 

Over the last decade I have managed projects for a range of clients, from multi-national corporations to small businesses. Now a freelancer, I have had the pleasure to work with various production companies and directors and am always interested to discuss new projects.
